Crash, pencil on paper 18″ by 24″
This is from the first drawing class I took in 2009. It was supposed to be divided into 9 equal cells using various studio props for material, but I joined the three center cells because the imagery there needed more room to be readable and coherent. Except for the figure in the upper left, which is from a photo of my daughter, all the other items are various dolls, skulls, face casts and ceramics used as studio props. Kind of dark, but when you have a pile of skulls to work with and its around Halloween this sort of thing can happen. Not sure what it means, just various thoughts of decline and fall, joy turning to dread and other happy things like that.
